What was I thinking..

..the first time I read, Evermore, book one of the Immortals?
I walked away from the book thinking I loved it, Damen was wonderful, it was a great book..





I recently reread it and man..what was I thinking?
Nothing against Alyson Noel, the writing isn't bad, it's entertaining
and the story line is different..it's just the characters are not endearing
at all.

Lets start with..


Damen: He's a terrible boyfriend. He disappears, she knows nothing about him, he keeps so many secrets, he keeps trying to get in her pants..I mean he may have known her and loved her in past lives, but Ever doesn't remember that, she's just getting to know you..take it slow boy, take it slow.

Haven: Ever's best friend is a whiny self absorbed brat. She's so unaware of whats going on around her and she blames Ever for everything. This girl doesn't have one good quality. And the fact the she changes her style to whoever she's admiring at the moment..just shows she doesn't have one of her own.

and finally...

Ever: Girl is dull. She may be psychic but that is the most interesting thing about her. She has no backbone, and constantly lets people walk all over her. She knows nothing about Damen yet calls him her boyfriend after one semi date together.

I do however love Riley, Evers little sister. She's spunky, and wise beyond her years. I plan on picking up the series based on her Radiance..I have a feeling Im gonna love it.
