Pizza Friday!

Today was my day off!

My hubby was supposed to work, but he's sick with a cold so he stayed home rather
than working outside in the rain. Normally he's go to work, but we can't afford an ER bill if he
gets sicker.

I made Pizza Pinwheels a few weeks ago for the first time, and he loved them so
much we decided to make them together!

Here's the stuff we bought to make them:

Sorry, about the dryer, it's in my kitchen so I consider it counter space.

Then we piled on the toppings! (or in this case the insides)

The we rolled it, then sliced it.

I'd show you the final results, but we overstuffed it, and the results, while yummy, were not pretty!
We still had a great time making it. I love it when hubby and I cook together. He's actually a pretty decent cook, he just hates doing it!

  1. I like this post and your blog as a whole! I’m a pizza lover too, and I have a guilty soft spot for New York pizza. As an enthusiast, I did some research on why this city has one of the best tasting pizzas in the world. I found out it’s because New York has one of the largest Italian immigrants in America, and the first pizzas in the US were probably sold in these Italian neighborhoods.
